Ms. Shakoori has over 10 years of experience representing debtors, official creditors’ committees, secured and unsecured creditors, buyers of assets, landlords, among other parties involved in the out-of-court workout, Chapter 7 or Chapter 11 process. Ms. Shakoori frequently counsels distressed individuals or businesses in a variety of industries including manufacturing, real estate, food and hospitality, automotive, health care, technology, securities, construction, retail and professional sports. In addition to representing distressed individuals and businesses, Ms. Shakoori also represents individuals in asset planning and structured settlements in an effort to avoid costly litigation.
